So now Halloween is over, it’s officially the run up to Christmas. I don’t normally get excited for Christmas until my birthday is over, but since the 1st of November all I have seen is Christmas gifts, adverts and decorations and it’s really gotten me into the Christmas mood and thinking about gift ideas.
If like me you want to try and be productive and get sorted as quickly as possible you should probably pick up as many Christmas catalogues as you can, I find this easier to plan what to get people.
It’s good to get yourself a notebook depending on how many people you have to buy for and write down a few ideas on what to buy people, also its good to look online and write down a few ideas as many shops will be putting on offers such as 3 for 2, or if you buy so many things you’ll receive a random gift.
I find Boots is a really good place to get gifts from especially with the 3 for 2 offer, for this I look through the catalogue first to help figure out what gifts would be best for certain people, if you have people in your life who particularly like Body Shop, they tend to have a range of offers on the run up to Christmas and if you are a loyalty member you receive emails about offers they have such as 40% off on certain occasions.
My main issue with Christmas is… what do you buy for the men in your life? Why not look in Boots for gift sets or silly gifts from places such as red5 or menkind? Another idea could be a personalised gift from Not on the High Street. Maybe there’s a box set they don’t have yet, or maybe there is a shop they go in a lot for which you could get them a gift card.
If you’re always rushing around at Christmas trying to get people what they want, why not try to organise yourself in advance and plan it all out? Then, by the time it’s mid December, you will have nothing to worry about.
